Advanced (Cadet U18, Junior U21 and Senior)	Grades (belt colour): 1K (brown), 1D (1^st Black) and higher

Format
Round Robin (Pool)	Typically 5 competitors or less. Competitor fight once each. The highest total number of wins determines the winner. In case of a tie in number of wins, the highest point score determines the winner. In case of a tie in points, the competitor having won his/her fight in the pool is declared the winner (who beat whom). In case of a triple tie, golden score contest.
Double Knockout (True has 1 bronze place) (Modified has 2 bronze places)	Typically 6 competitors or more. The competition continues until each of the athletes, with the exception of the winner, loses twice. In this system, an athlete who loses one bout can still win the “true”competition.
