The 2024 Open Canadian Championships & Camp is scheduled for May 22 to 29 in Montreal QC.
All BC athletes and coaches attending Open National Championships 2024 must complete this registration. This is REQUIRED for all youth age athletes and for Team BC coaches. We kindly ask all referees, kata evaluators, officials and VIPs also complete this registration, even if they will be arranging their own travel and accommodations.
Please note entry into the competition is subject to approval by the Provincial Head Coach based on the 2023-24 Open Nationals Selection criteria. Athletes that don't meet the criteria or aren't eligible for other reasons i.e. rank, will be notified once we receive their submission.

Flights (departing May 21, returning May 29):

May 27-29: Training Camp
Accommodations - Estimate is $50/day for shared bed, $75/day for own bed (if possible) and $150/day for individual room.
Coach support fee - $20 per day (U21 and under only)
Admin fee - $40

1st entry - $120
2nd entry - $60
3rd entry (ne waza) - $60
Banquet: - $70
Mandatory for athletes 18 and younger, optional for everyone else.
Training Camp - $40
Ground transportation - TBD
Deposit:
$125 - fully refundable until the Judo Canada final registration date in mid April
Final Payment due the end of April. An invoice will be sent in mid April once all the travel arrangements are finalized.
Athletes that are part of the 2023-24 Provincial Team Program will receive funding for this event. The exact amounts will be based on the athlete's level on the team and final costs for this trip.
Please note:
Additional information will be required closer to the date of the event i.e. Judo Canada medical form.
All participants must also register directly with Judo Canada for this event.
All U16, U18, U21 must stay with Team BC
