Board members, coaches and volunteers who participate in judo events need to understand and be familiar with Ethics Training (SEE ATTACHMENT ABOVE).
Ethics training ensures members have the knowledge, confidence and skills needed to effectively manage challenging situations. It is one of three pillars of the Responsible Coaching Movement, along with rule of two and background screening.
By registering on this site it is understood that the said registrant has completed ethics training for each season. (September 01, this year to August 31, the following year)

Lifelong learning through numerous training modules helps members expand their knowledge and awareness of important topics throughout their career.
Completing training such as Safe Sport Training, NCCP Make Ethical Decisions and many more helps members expand their knowledge and awareness of important topics throughout their career. It equips our board members, coaches and volunteers to identify the legal, ethical, and moral implications of difficult situations that present themselves in the world of team and individual sport. Safe Sport training empowers members such as coaches and parents to recognize and prevent bullying, abuse, harassment and discrimination (BAHD).

* The CAC has launched the new MED eLearning module. Everything appears to be running well, and coaches can proceed with taking the module.

They have also announced an option to request a code to access the module for any mid-stream coaches. This is available until Sept 30th, 2026 and is the responsibility of the individual coach to request.
