Catherine Beauchemin-Pinard is one of Canada’s top international judoka, competing in the women’s -63 kg division.
Born June 26, 1994, in Montreal, Quebec, she has been a consistent presence on the world stage for over a decade.
An Olympic bronze medallist at the Tokyo 2020 Games, she made history as part of the first Canadian team to win multiple judo medals at a single Olympics. She is also a World Championship silver medallist (2022, 2025) and Commonwealth Games champion (2022).
On the International Judo Federation (IJF) circuit, Beauchemin-Pinard has earned numerous Grand Slam and international podium finishes, including a gold at the 2025 Tbilisi Grand Slam and a silver at the 2026 Tashkent Grand Slam. As of early 2026, she is ranked among the top athletes in the world in her category.
A longtime member of Judo Canada, she is known for her technical skill, consistency, and leadership within Canada’s high-performance judo program.
