Judo BC is sending a team to the 2023 Quebec Open & Montreal Panam Cup. If you are interested in attending please review the following information.

We will have 2 groups traveling.

Group 1: (Quebec Open + Training Camp)

All U16 (2010 & 2009) will travel from Nov 9 to 15 (Quebec Open + Training Camp).
Here is the schedule

Nov 9: Traveling to Quebec
Nov 10-12: Quebec Open
Nov 13-15: Training Camp
Nov 15: Traveling to BC

Estimated cost group 1: (not included Quebec Open registration Fee, ~120 for 2 divisions)
- Vancouver: $1250
- Victoria: $1350
- Prince-George: $1800

Group 2: (Quebec Open + Training Camp + Montreal Cup)

(No U16 allowed for Canada Cup 2010 & 2009)
This Montreal Cup is recommended for all athletes who have minimum a medal at Nationals, or please check with your coach.

Nov 17: Junior Montreal Cup
Nov 18: Senior lightweight Montreal Cup

Estimated cost Group 2: (not included Quebec Open registration Fee, ~120 for 2 divisions, & Montreal Cup Registration ~$380) :

- Vancouver: $1500
- Victoria: $1600
- Prince-George: $2000

If you never fought in IJF/Panam tournament, here are the requirements:

It is mandatory for all competitors to have a valid PJC ($140) and IJF ($80) membership. If you are not sure if you do, please contact [email protected]
All Cadets that competed in Junior will only have to make the 5% weight in for Cadet
All Cadets and Juniors competing in Seniors will have to make weight without any allowance during the official weight in time
All competitors and coaches will need to be a member in good standing of Judo Canada, PJC and IJF
Mandatory IJF approved judogi and Back numbers for all competitors

If you are planning on traveling &/or staying with Judo BC, and being supervised & coached at the event by Judo BC, please complete this registration by September 15th. Athletes will be required to submit a deposit of $200.

The estimated total cost per athlete includes air & ground transportation, accommodations, coach travel support fee and team coordinator support fee.

Registration for the competitions and payment of the entry fees will need to be completed by each athlete, their parents or their club. Links to the online registration for each of the competitions will be posted in the News Section of this page on Trackie as soon as they are available.

An invoice will be sent to participating athletes once all the bookings & costs are finalized. The final payment will be required by Oct 1st.

When completing this registration, please use the names listed on your government issued ID, so that it is correctly listed for the flights.

A $50 refund processing fee plus any non recoverable costs (i.e. airline cancellation fees) will be charged to anyone requesting a refund regardless of the reason for the cancellation.

An extra 20$ per day for coaching will be added on the final invoice for U21 & Under
An extra 40$ will be added for admin fees on the final invoice
