Lake Country Judo and Kelowna Judo will be hosting the annual “Okanagan Open” Novice tournament (orange belt and under) here in the Okanagan on
Sunday, March 17, 2024 at Parkinson Rec Centre (1800 Parkinson Way).
Similar to every year’s shiai, it will be another excellent chance for all judoka, from new white belt little ones, to U21, to participate in a fun “tournament”,
right here in our own backyard! We will have as many matches for everybody as possible, with candy and awards at the end! There will a $35 charge to enter.
Sunday March 17/24:
9:00-9:30am: Registration & Organization
9:30 – 10:30: Warm-up and short training session led by Senseis from all clubs
10:30-10:45: Judo rules explanation and demonstration
10:45 - 1pm: Round robin randori’s (matches)
